Solution

To measure the speed of your website, Bitpalace recommends the Pingdom Speedtest. Pingdom not only shows you the total load time from different locations, but also divides the loading process of a page into steps and components of the page. This will show you exactly which element of the page (for example, which script, which CSS file, which image) has which loading time. Most load time problems can be quickly and easily identified and solved.

Also popular is Google Pagespeed Insights. Google shows in the form of a value between 0 and 100 how well the load time of your website is optimized. Values beyond 80 are considered to be particularly good. Google Pagespeed Insights also suggests how you can improve loading time, but some need to be viewed critically in context. A proposal to combine CSS formatting into a single file may not necessarily be correct if some formatting is applied to rarely used pages.
